Bollywood struck gold at the 56th National Film Awards on Saturday with "Fashion" and "Rock On" bagging top honours while Bengali movie "Antaheen" scored with the best film award for 2008.
"Antaheen", starring Rahul Bose and Sharmila Tagore, also bagged awards for cinematography, lyrics and female playback singer, a government release said.
Bollywood actresses Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut won the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress honours for their roles in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion".
"Just won the National award for fashion!!!!! Aaaaaaaahhhh!!! Too excited!! God is kind and so r all of u!! Love yalll!!!!!," Chopra wrote on her Twitter account after the National Awards were announced.
Marathi actor Upendra Limaye won Best Actor for "Jogva" while Arjun Rampal was adjudged Best Supporting Actor for "Rock On".
"Rock On", about an Indian rock band and its members, also won in the Best Hindi film category.
Shams Patel won the Best Child Artiste award for his performance in "Thanks Maa" while Malayalam film "Bioscope" took home the Special Jury Award.
